GAINING MOMENTUM
Paul Calls His Fundraising Success 'Astounding'

I managed to get the first comment in to plug the straw polls for Ron Paul, and CNBC videos on Paul.

Paul added that his campaign plans another "special" grass-roots-sponsored fundraising day on Dec. 16, which he expects will bring in millions.

That's gotta be some bad reporting? With all the pains he went through to clarify the campaign/non-campaign issue on Nov. 5.?

Urgh!! Why do they keep calling him a libertarian? I think that is their way of providing coverage while still ocnfusing the American people.

Eh, people from outside looking in probably don't understand this whole "grassroots" vs. the actual campaign concept. Most campaigns have to set things up like this themselves.

Click the show comments at the end - only 2 comments so far. I like to promote the Zogby poll. Maybe I'll comment again.

He IS "libertarian" not "Libertarian" I know it looks like the same word, two meaning. the first is a philosophy the second a political party.

Just HAD to throw that in there didn't you? What in the world makes you think this coverage has anythig to do with giving now as opposed to December 16th.
In fact it is absolutely ludicrous or flame-bait to even suggest it.

In fact, Paul seems to have mentioned December 16 in the interview. Don't see any mention of November 30. Shame if we dropped the ball after raising expectations.

Yeah, don't get me wrong I'm not concerned with the credit, I only thought there were some weird legal issues hanging about the distinction that should be clarified.

Paul, 72, said his campaign has "already started spending, generously," in the early voting states of New Hampshire, Iowa and South Carolina. He added that his team is "working hard in Nevada," which will vote on the heels of those three contests, and will still have enough money left to spend in the nearly two dozen primaries that are scheduled for Feb. 5.

Thanks for the article!! That is very promising!

A bit confusing article (in the parts already mentioned), but generally OK. Thanks.

Also in Vegas.

He mentioned Nov. 5th. and "what maybe will occur again in December" - followed by cheers.
