I have a good friend of mine from Iowa City who's involved in local politics and very knowledgeable about politics in general. He really likes a lot of Ron Paul's views, but considers his standpoint on noninterventionism to be a bit radical.

He's ok with bringing troops home from Iraq, but thinks it's a bit foolhardy and unrealistic to want to pull troops from all the bases around the world, including Korea, Germany and Japan.

Does anyone know of a great article addressing Ron Paul's noninterventionism which might appeal to him? I think if I can sway his opinion, there are a number of other Iowans that would follow him.

yeah, that's where people tend to push back for me as well, but usally I just ask them, you tell me who's got a better plan... end of argument
