Funny how GE pops up all over the place in its history. Hitlers Germany was a very nice customer of GE's aswell.

So let me get this straight. He just said that his support of drones has nothing to do with the fact that he profits from their existence? What would have happened if he disagreed with the usage of drones? Would he still attempt to profit from them?

the level of cognitive dissonance has reached an all time high with the msnbc'ers. the drone war and rand filibuster is totally throwing a mirror in their face-and now with the GE avoiding hundreds of billions in taxes-well it makes the whole sequestration argument a joke. odonnel, maddow, or schultz have no way to defend themselves anymore and they'll never invite an honest guest to discuss this.

Just a note - GE does not own NBCU anymore. Comcast bought them and had 51% for a couple of years, the final stake was sold out earlier this year.

The cable company revealed yesterday it will pay $16.7 billion to buy out General Electric’s remaining 49 percent stake in NBCU, speeding up a process that was expected to play out over several more years. The purchase comes just two years after Comcast acquired a 51 percent stake in New York media company.

So, while Ed Schultz and the other guys who railed Bush (rightfully so) for his abuse of civil liberties with regards to enhanced interrogations, and now turn the other way when its Obama, is completely deplorable...it is not because they are profiting from these drones through a parent company, but rather from blind faith in a party (and a man) that would no longer view them as good little soldiers and let them kiss their rings if they pointed out the hypocrisy.
