This caught my interest though, clearly the neocons are flustered.
“But the real issue — and the reason McCain is upset with all of this — is that this is a way to get into the issue,” he added. “Rand Paul’s opposition largely has to do with drone attacks overseas, and that is what McCain wants to protect, and what Rand Paul ultimately wants to undermine. But he cleverly chose an issue on which everybody agrees.”

He's cleverly chosen an issue on which everybody except the ruling class agrees.
After all, if everybody agreed on it, we wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.

I think we have all learned the lesson by now (including myself) that the coporate media will never be converted to liberty. I rememeber my own misguided notions about Mark Levin a couple of years ago when he was giving all of this praise to Rand. I thought "maybe the message of liberty is slowly getting through". Then a few months later, the assaults on Ron came. Boy, did I learn my lesson. The corporate media heads will always work against us, because we are a threat to them. Also, the message of liberty exposes these fake conservatives for the big government statists they are. They will never accept freedom.

Well that's good. We're picking our battle lines and we're winning so far. I'd rather find my allies and enemies 3 years ahead of time anyway.

Oh how clever for him to be in touch with an issue that the people(the electorate) agree on.

Chucky K originally called Rand's filibuster a "stroke of political genius."
Now he's calling it "ridiculous and absurd" (and "clever" - in the sense of slyly devious & deceptive).
I guess Billy K must have called Chucky up and given him an ass-chewing ("Stroke of political genius? You idiot! What the hell were you thinking?") ...

On this weekend’s broadcast of the syndicated “Inside Washington” television program, conservative Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer blasted Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul’s recent filibuster and mocked the idea of a drone attack on United States soil.
“Well look, I am grateful he raised this issue, because I think we have reached a point in the country where we are sick and tired of the way the administration is going around blowing people to kingdom come while sitting in their living rooms because of a suspicion — I’m talking about Americans,” Krauthammer said. “Just last week, my neighbor was blown away during a chicken barbecue by his pool.”
“Look, of all of the issues that we are looking at in the country — insolvency, war in North Africa, Iran going nuclear — this is the most ridiculous and absurd,” Krauthammer continued. “The problem was that the president’s attorney general stumbled around and didn’t know how to answer a question. It is not a serious issue. There is no conceivable circumstance under which the president would use a drone in the United States, absent a civil war like we had in the 1860s or an invasion of al-Qaida from Saskatchewan.”
According to Krauthammer, Republicans like Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain are pushing back against Paul’s obfuscation of the real issue at hand.

Krauthammer is German for 'petulant whiner'? Are you sure it isn't German for 'flip flopper'?
I want to point out that Krauthammer was singing a different tune just a year ago:
Krauthammer On Drones Flying In US: "Stop It Here, Stop It Now" (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/05/14/krauthammer_on_drones_flying_in_us_stop_it_here_st op_it_now.html)

"I'm going to go hard left on you here, I'm going ACLU," syndicated columnist Charles Krauthammer said in opposition to the use of drones on the U.S. homeland. "I don't want regulations, I don't want restrictions, I want a ban on this. Drones are instruments of war. The Founders had a great aversion to any instruments of war, the use of the military inside even the United States. It didn't like standing armies, it has all kinds of statutes of using the army in the country."
"A drone is a high-tech version of an old army and a musket. It ought to be used in Somalia to hunt bad guys but not in America. I don't want to see it hovering over anybody's home. Yes, you can say we have satellites, we've got Google Street View and London has a camera on every street corner but that's not an excuse to cave in on everything else and accept a society where you're always under -- being watched by the government. This is not what we want," Krauthammer said on the panel portion of FOX News' "Special Report."
"I would say that you ban it under all circumstances and I would predict, I'm not encouraging, but I an predicting that the first guy who uses a Second Amendment weapon to bring a drone down that's been hovering over his house is going to be a folk hero in this country," Krauthammer said tonight.
"I would say the price of liberty. You can hear a helicopter, you can't hear a drone. You know, if you hear a helicopter you hide under a bush. Well, you can't with this which is why it's effective in Pakistan and elsewhere. It's deft and it's silent. I don't think we want a society where if there are the objects, hovering over streaming, real-time information about you, your family, your car, your location," Krauthammer said later in the segment.
"It's not worth it," he said.
"The Founders we're deeply opposed to the militarization of civil society. There is all kinds of aversions to it and this is importing it because, as you say, it's cheap, it's easy, it's silent. It's something that you can easily deploy. It's going to be, I think the bane of our existence. Stop it here, stop it now," Krauthammer said at the end of the panel segment. "Strong letter to follow."

Krauthammer tries to talk intelligently . . . but probably never even saw this very important part of the Stand with Rand filibuster . . .

The video of him praising Rand on Fox got 70,000 views on youtube.
I think Kristol got worried and so he changed his tune
Hosting a presidential poll on your website, inviting people to participate, then changing the results to your liking is somewhat ridiculous and absurd as well (and dishonest too).
