McCain trash again... you figure TPTB would find a younger useful idiot because this 'Arizona Dishrag' has been rung out of reality.

It's safe to say Sen. John McCain secured his position this week as the GOP's reigning dinosaur by shaking his metaphorical fist at those "impressionable libertarian kids (http://www.mediaite.com/tv/sen-mccain-tears-into-rand-pauls-totally-unfounded-filibuster-a-disservice-to-a-lot-of-americans/)" to get off his lawn with their "wacko bird (http://www.mediaite.com/online/rand-paul-i-treat-sen-mccain-with-respect-i-dont-think-i-always-get-the-same-in-return/)" beliefs in civil liberties and whatnot. Heaven forbid a young, principled conservatarian like Rand Paul offend McCain's idea of senatorial decorum and take a stand on an issue that has long been ignored outside of ACLU, Code Pink, Mother Jones, and pretty much every libertarian publication.

Later appearing on Fox News (http://www.mediaite.com/tv/shep-smith-grills-mccain-over-his-rand-paul-criticism-offends-him-by-calling-him-interventionist/), McCain yearned for the good ol' days when no one spoke up about these civil liberties issues except for easily dismissed anti-Bush liberals. Sorry, senator, but lamenting the end of that era isn't going to score you any points.

Watch McCain's initial anti-Paul offensive below:

Sen. Graham clearly sees no real issue with the expansion of executive authority. His Thursday morning response to Rand Paul made that much clear. The senator went as far as to congratulate President Obama for effectively continuing the controversial anti-terror policies of George W. Bush. Once again, we shouldn't be surprised: as I told Current TV's Cenk Uygur this week, Graham has a "thuggish" record on civil liberties issues: During the 2011 debate over indefinite detention, the senator said that if an American citizen suspected of terrorist activity says "‘I want my lawyer,’ you tell them, ‘Shut up. You don’t get a lawyer.'"

Well that's the difference between 2,958 dead, and 200,000,000.
