I logged on this evening expecting to see youtubes of several Rand Paul interviews on the major networks posted here. But I went through three pages of new posts and don't see a single one. Can anyone confirm? Blackout the Day After?

You knew it was coming. Hopefully the message catches fire and spreads without the media's help.

Nope, I actually tuned into Fox for the first time in a while, and along with another Rand interview (he's done a lot of them with a lot of outlets today), they showed video from his filibuster.

Shephard Smith was actually freaking out about how sad it is that this is even a question. There is indeed a pradigm shift occuring, now we have to start worrying more about co-opting.

He was on Limbaugh.

Yesterday the local CBS affiliate did mention it, but they used the AP version so they got all the facts completely wrong. Tonight the local NBC affiliate covered it and actually got the facts right.

I was amazed.

No, when we're blacked out this place is full of the story. The only way every other headline here isn't about the story is if it's actually getting coverage.

...now we have to start worrying more about co-opting.

This. They really want to paint this as all Rubio's idea...

This...he got some good play on Greta last night too, one of my local affiliates (I think CBS) had a thirty second piece on it.

CNN and NY Times were blacking it out at first, but then it became to big of a story for them to blackout... so they've since started serious coverage. But the main pages didn't reflect that until recently.

Smith was mad about potential drone strikes, and some jerk at Politico took a small clip out of context and claimed that Smith was ranting against Rand!

They titled it "Shep Smith slams ‘stupid’ Rand Paul filibuster". These people have no shame. That was not just hyperbole or spin, that was a lie. Smith was angry about the idea of drone strikes in America, and the fact that the Obama Administration would not give an answer.

Yep, I could see how in small bites you could make it sound like it was too absurd to be debated (The McCain/Graham method). His point was that it's absurd that things have gotten so bad that we have to even demand an answer about something like this.

Hannity has Gingrich on right now and are both praising Rand. There is a "Stand With Rand" graphic on the right bottom side of the screen the whole time.

Hannity is blasting McCain for his comments against Rand.

McCain and Graham are going to get a first hand experience of what "blowback" is. I still enjoy watching Ron make McCain look stupid in the 2008 debates.

The two paradigm brain washing really shows itself in this situation. But I, as others here, am surprised at the number of media people that have come down on our side. Good to see. Let's enjoy it while it lasts.

Lawrence O'Donnell's red-faced spewing hatred for Rand is truly bizarre and without any comparison in the media. This must be about some other issue with Lawrence, including some possibilites of which I would feel uncomfortable even suggesting. He is a tragic figure.

Holder sent a short letter to Rand today (by the way Fox News got a copy before Rand did). See, for example, the top video in post #29 in this thread.

why does Kelly say that we have only intentionally killed ONE American overseas - Awlaki ?
what about an associate of his who was probably with him when he was struck,
and what about his 16 year old son who was killed in a separate strike a week later ?
those were unintentional ?

Because she is a fraud, and not Liberty friendly.

I thought Rand would bring it up, but I like the way he responded.

Lawrence O'Donnell is a bloodthirsty (reform) Marxist. He wants to kill people.

Speaking of blood-thristy Trotskyites, you should find a clip of the later segment where Megyn Kelly and her Democrat guest basically agreed that if a terrorist were sitting in a crowded Starbucks in the US, it would be acceptable to kill everyone in that Starbucks with a drone in hope of killing a suspected terrorist, after all factors are "weighed".

There was a thread on it:
