In the few cities I have lived in, the newspapers had the annual Christmas "doll and toy fund", where you donate money and they put a list of contributors in the paper.
My meetup group is planning on sending in a donation; the donor will be "(city) Ron Paul 2008 Meetup.com chapter"
I look at it as 1) most importantly to donate to this good cause and 2) cheap advertising as a result. I donate anyway... figured Ron Paul could get some advertising this year instead of me...
