I wouldn't say he's the worst, but I would say he's pretty darn terrible.

Yup, but you cannot tell from the interview with Ellison because Hannity was actually the level headed, honest person in the exchange. Ellison was just yapping his mouth like a raving lunatic to the point where even Hannity couldn't take it anymore, think Alex Jones vs Piers Morgan.

Hannity isn't a journalist, he is a commentator.

Ellison was completely right. Hannity is nothing but a mouthpiece for the RNC.

Sometimes, when I see two people arguing and instantly hate both of them, I feel like I've got too much hate in my heart.

Hannity was a spokesman and communications guy for College Republicans / Young Republicans when he was just starting out.

And this is why people tune out. As the song goes, nobody's right if everybody's wrong.

Regarding tuning out, I happened to land on CNN last night for a few seconds, and there were four talking heads on the screen arranged like Hollywood Squares, and they were all talking over one another. It was horrendous.

I blew right past it, and your observation is correct, as far as I was concerned, they were all wrong, without even hearing the content of what they said.

Ellison is another VRA congressman. Love or hate Hannity, Ellison just made an ass of himself, right up there with that Eddie Bernice Johnson lady who was on Cavuto a few months ago.

Hannity has pretty much admitted right out that his business is propaganda.

Thanks for the vivid mental picture!

Hannnity a cheesy game show host of Hollywood Squares with Lindsey Graham in the middle of the circle jerk playing the part of Paul Lynde.

Ellison is a pretty decent representative of the House.

GOP continues to be a fraudulent org w/ Hannity as a leading media voice

Won't disagree with you about Hannity, but did you watch the interview? Ellison is a complete nutjob. That was the most forced, awkward rant I have ever heard, probably something his consultants told him to do to win points back in the district.

Why is there a socialist commenting on RPF?

Since we got rid of cable a couple of years ago, I don't think I've caught more than a few minutes of Faux News here or there at the dentist or something.

Which is kind of appropriate since listening to Hannity OR Ellison is kind of akin to getting a root canal.

You purists need to learn to forgive and forget for Rand's sake. We need as many friends like Hannity and Beck as we can get if we want any remote chance of getting the nomination, regardless of what they've done to us in the past. Also, that democrat was absolutely ridiculous.

Stop being so sensitive. I'm suggesting and showing you people over the internet what needs to be done to get Rand elected. We've got zero other electable options. This is a very volatile situation and if you want him elected we must not burn bridges and be willing to play the game. Or you can have fun in your purist libertarian bubble and we can continue to get 8% of the vote next time around.

How did it feel to pull the lever for Romney?

I voted for Johnson and I'm closer to a pure anarchist actually. But I am willing to take definitive short steps to liberty through someone like Rand than see this country's impending collapse.

Apologizing for Hannity, Beck, etc. won't accomplish that.

But defaming them every chance you get certainly won't help. Plus, I'm not saying apologize for them. I dislike them both, but any politically smart people know we need them to build bridges and capture a wider audience in the GOP.

You're right to a degree; I certainly don't blame Rand himself for going on their shows and being polite and friendly to them. But something tells me that comments on RPF are not going to substantially change Hannity or Beck's views of Rand Paul. These forums matter far less than we might think they do.

Oh man, the best part was when Ellison went full on child mode:

Scammity: "I got it, I know, you're a broken record"

Ellison: "You're a broken record >:[ "

Best part of the video was when Hannity stated that Obama was responsible for $6 trillion increase and Rep Ellison asked "what about the other 10? Yea the other 10 that took hundreds of years to accumulate that his guy more than doubled in 4 years.

In this case Hannity won the debate by default. His opponent doubled fault his way to defeat :)
