Yes. When the Federal government passes unconstitutional laws the states do not have to obey those laws. This is because the states are bound only by the laws of the Constitution. Any unconstitutional laws are non-binding.

Yes, and more than that, states are obligated not to obey those laws

May this effort become a growing trend.

These firearm nullification acts are really getting a lot more momentum than I ever expected... this is real progress,

and if you read these bills some of them are written REALLY well. These state legislators I think have all got a very good history lesson over these past couple months. And more than that they are growing a pair...

These states should build into these bills a secession trigger...

"Given the findings in Section 2a that States unquestionably reserve the right to judge the Constitutionality of Federal Law, and are sovereign voluntary participants of this Union, the State of [x] will be left without option but to secede in the event that the Federal Government illegally and unconstitutionally takes action in contradiction with this bill."

I agree, probably should get the bill passed as quietly as possible and then add the secession clause afterwards. :D

Whoever these state officials are that didn't vote for this should get a liberty primary opponent next election.
