It's that time again!

Every two years, Republican activists like you, in every corner of our state, gather in backyards and at community centers to reorganize and recommit to building a solid Republican foundation in South Carolina.

This past November, while our nominee was unsuccessful in winning the White House, we saw important gains here at home. We sent Tom Rice to Congress, picked up a State Senate seat, and added two seats in the State House of Representatives!

This is why your involvement in precinct reorg is so critical--we need to maintain our important status as a conservative hot-bed of success and innovation.

Precinct meetings have helped us to achieve Republican success in our state. Precinct reorganization allows anyone who is interested to get involved at the most local of levels in our party. Although our party is involved in many different areas of campaigning and governing, our party ultimately exists because of the activism and devotion of our grassroots!

To become a part of this important process:

1. Click the link, or go to 2013.scgop.com, to find your precinct meeting.

2. Make plans to attend your precinct meeting and bring as many of your Republican neighbors with you.

3. Run for delegate (and attend) to your county convention, and plan on running for delegate at the State Convention.

We are proud to be "RED" in South Carolina, but we cannot rest on our laurels. Make sure to be involved in this year's precinct reorg!

If you have any questions about reorg, please email reorg@scgop.com.

Thanks and see you soon!

Very important for all grassroots activists in SC. The liberty movement needs to increase its influence in parties all across the country. The conservative base has increased to just about half of the MIGOP and probably many more of the party delegates were fooled into voting establishment.

The link in my op has an interactive map thingie for anyone to find out where their SC precinct convention is being held and when. You must attend this first meeting to participate in the rest of the convention process, up to the SC state convention and beyond as voting delegates.

You may also be able to send in an absentee letter to your county GOP office if you're unable to attend the first precinct meeting but would still like to participate in the convention process as a voting delegate (county, district, state conventions...all held after this first precinct/reorg convention). Check with your local county GOP office about absentee rules. You also have to be registered R by whatever the cut off date is, also info that your county GOP office can guide you on.
