I don't see why even if C02 is the concern. Wood is carbon neutral for the most part.

I lived in a mountain valley for a while - and can attest that when enough people use wood stoves the air can be pretty bad in the early morning due to cold air subsidence. For one locality to impose regulations isn't the problem. It's when the Feds resort to one-size-fits-all.

If it's a local government, it is fine. They can do whatever they want. If the federal government tried to do something like this though, I would be very upset.
