View Full Version : Insurance Premiums are Going to Spike This Fall - Big Time

The final regulations on health insurance rates came out today, and the administration left a lot of the costliest Obamacare provisions intact.

This means health insurance premiums are going to spike this fall. In many markets, perhaps substantially.

It was an odd political decision. Delayed implementation of some of the costlier provisions would have gone largely unnoticed by most consumers. Even the political left would have probably accepted a delay if it made the law’s overall implementation go more smoothly. On the flip side, once premiums spike this fall – and they will – the ensuing backlash could cost the Administration even more support for the law.

Don't worry; there's a tax for that.

Since I am healthy I and you cannot be denied for a preexisting condition, I'm not going to carry insurance, I will just buy it if something catastophic happens. I will get out of the fee too by claiming a religious exemption, or simply refuse to pay it since there are no real enforcement provisions, I will just continue setting my exemptions so that no refund is due.

The insurance I spoke with recently claimed that health insurance will go down dramatically next year when there are more people in the system. We'll see..........

until there is an increase in the utilization of services- which then drives up the prices, which will increase the premiums.
third-party pay systems will always end up this way.
there is a reason a grocery store doesn't offer a co-pay at check out.
you'd load up several buggy loads and at check out- pay your $20.
they send the bill for your 3 buggy loads to the fund manager.
they have to recoup the cost, so they increase your monthly.

You know, it's amazing to me how these socialist/libtard morons think they are achieving anything positive.

FACSISM. Fucking idiots. If you don't submit and pay an insurance company, you must submit and pay the government a fine or face jail....

FUCKED UP.

The place I work demands that in order to waive insurance I must provide proof that I am insured.

There will not be more people , but less I think, just a bunch of people without who have to pay the fine.
