Needs to be this guy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVUrYCcmRy4), provided he can secure an early release from Rochester.

It's a shame he was basically sent to jail for a personal vendetta. He was one of the hardest working and most sincere and caring public servants in Washington. (Albeit, obviously, one of the most colorful.) And what did he get for his constant criticisms of the government? Sent to a mental hospital.

Traficant went to prison for using his Congressional staff to work on his house; while I admire his railing against the system, he has the ethics of M.H.

I do not think the running mate needs to be colorful and unusual, we've got that covered and then some. What the running mate needs to be is someone that will bring in lots of votes (ie. moderate Republicans and Democrats)

LONG LIVE JIMMY TRAFICANT!!!!!!!!!

Was he dirty? Sure, but no dirtier than anyone else in Congress besides Dr. Paul . He was in the unfortunate position of having taken on the government in a criminal trial and BEATEN them when defending himself, and he had a personal vendetta with an FBI agent since the 80s. (The same guy presided over both of his trials.)

Did he have connections to the mob? YOU BET! But he used them to help his district.

For those who want a good laugh, check out this link to some of his famous "one-minute speeches" to open the day's work in Congress.

He was sent to a mental hospital? That type of shit shouldn't happen in a free society, that's worse then jail.

The Vice President merely needs to be someone that has the same principles as Ron Paul.

That being said, he/she would be most humble, would recognize the WEAK position of VP, but would understand the VALUE of being a President. Again, this comes back to Ron's principles. Can you imagine, for whatever health reasons, Ron falls ill and some people in here are suggesting Kucinich for VP?!!!

Kucinich VP ---------> President of the US

ROSS PEROT

Not a terrible idea.

I loved that bit in the last democrat debate where the guy asks Hillary if in hindsight, Ross Perot was right about NAFTA, and that lying cunt could only say "I only remember some charts". When we all know the truth was that her and every other establishment slime was agitating in favor of NAFTA bigtime, and mocking Perot's country bumpkin ways.

Looks like ol' Ross and his charts weren't so crazy after all, but Hillary just wants to move on and not discuss "ancient" history. What a bitch.
