Thats impossible, AR 15's can only be used to murder children.

Impossible.

There is something fishy about this "tax" business. why would they need a security guard with such a dangerous child killing weapon? that couple is lucky he only had 7 rounds and had to manually load each one.

Hopefully that video makes the rounds.

Also I didn't see this video posted here. It's a another good reminder of how quickly things can deteriorate and why weapons are necessary.

Is he snobbing the robbers California style and loading one round at a time on them?

So much for "a gun is not a defensive weapon". The victims were lucky enough to have one of those scary looking semi-auto rifles.

Observation rather than judgement (stress is a helluva drug) that security guard needs intensive remedial training.

1) how the f'k do you miss a back and forth (NOT side to side) target with an AR at 5 yards?????????????

2) why the f'k are you going to sweep LEFT and go through a WALL when the target is inching RIGHT towards the exit?

seems to me the security guard went into 'spray and pray' mode, which is a BAD BAD BAD idea with all those people around.

Like I said though, stress is a helluva drug. I don't mean the above as a judgement per se, just an observation.

Security guard needs enough intensive remedial training until he develops muscle memory. Perp would have had a couple copper and lead implants, and the bystanders would have been a hell of a lot safer.

Most security guards only receive training on their primary duty weapon. This guy looked like he never even had range time with that thing.

I agree... by the looks of it, he was just gunning for suppressive fire versus directed fire. He should've made them count. ... a couple less bad guys in the world then.

Seemed to work very effectively as an educational tool all around, PLUS no one seemed so injured they wouldn't be able to over come it.

I'll bet at least two involved have some sort of safer (/easier:)) line of work to consider for the future. Luckily
