We're helping Kayla. SWAT got the address wrong and raided this mother of two. 11 days later, the tear gas still makes anyone who enters the apartment cough. Money will be delivered with plenty of Ron Paul material, and we're trying to get some local news coverage.

Lincoln, NE Meetup is trying to send 2,600 letters and postcards to Iowans. But they will have to send back a lot of the names and addresses they received if they can't raise more money (over a thousand dollars) for the materials and postage.

We're taking out weekly ads in our local paper, rented a small office on the town square, from which we distribute yards signs, dvds, flyers for free, and buying thousands of slim jims to take door to door and put on cars during church services. It is tough to raise enough money for this from our small group. But since we are the first primary in the nation winning here is very critical. The Zogby Poll is very much a motivator to me realizing the majority of people would vote for Paul when asked, but MOTIVATING these people to get out to register republican and vote is our biggest task.

It is sad that so many chip-ins have less than 5 contributors. In many cases you will get the best advertising value for your dollar. If everyone just picks one or two, and donates $5, we can have it filled up overnight .... I just did.

For simplicity, I will repost from another thread here.


There has been a lot of misinformation about what maxed out donors can legally do. I hope this thread will help clear some of that up.

For example, with many of the ChipIn funds, reasonable donors could expect substantial portions of their contributions to go to the express advocacy of the election of Ron Paul. Therefore, such a contribution would count as a contribution to Ron Paul's campaign. A person who gave $100 to such a ChipIn fund would only be able to give $2200 to Ron Paul's campaign.

I have created RonPaulmax.com (http://www.ronpaulmax.com) as a directory legal resources for maxed out donors. Please submit the websites of any funds that qualify. If they are legal and would have a meaningful impact on the election, I will list them.

Please pass word about this. While most people are not maxed out, the people who are need to know about this. You can help spread the word by posting this info in directories, blogs, etc. Thank you.
