Killer Chris Dorner’s death leaves question mark on $1 million reward

Christopher Dorner is reportedly dead, killed Wednesday in a shootout with police at a cabin in California. So what happens to the $1 million reward money offered by Los Angeles officials?

Nothing, according to one Los Angeles Police Department official.

“There was no capture and no conviction. It’s kind of a no-brainer,” said LAPD Officer Alex Martinez, in a CBS report. Mr. Dorner was killed, and therefore the terms of the reward were not met, he explained.

If any of the story is true, it sounds like the Game Wardens should get it.

Maybe they're not getting it because he wasn't really there...

Nope (regardless of any of that)
“There was no capture and no conviction. It’s kind of a no-brainer,”

There was NEVER any intent to arrest the man. From the very start the whole intention was to kill him on sight (or sound,, shadow, smell or imagination)
There was never at any time any intention to arrest the man.

2 fired up trucks should be a clue.

no doubt... The bastards I guess didn't want to be SO obvious by offering a trillion dollar reward. Complete corrupt system is completely corrupt.

They were always going to kill him....

They took him out quickly as well before SOTU and they avoid paying out 1 million.

Yup. There was probably an order that rolled downhill to be certain they killed him. They'd rather light the cabin on fire than have to foot that bill.
