Adding to the mystery of the second unidentified wounded witness (http://youtu.be/Ki8LrQ7O3cI) who may have seen Adam Lanza, wounded witness Natalie Hammond, the vice principal, was invited to and attended (http://articles.courant.com/2013-02-08/news/hc-state-of-union-newtown-guests-20130208_1_nancy-lanza-adam-lanza-gun-violence) last night's State of the Union speech by Obama. Most press reports did not even mention the existence of the second wounded witness, with the exception of the Newtown Patch (http://newtown.patch.com/articles/teacher-shooting-survivor-will-be-guest-at-state-of-the-union) which said:

Sandy Hook Elementary School teacher Natalie Hammond was one of two injured during the Dec. 14 shooting that left 20 children and six adults dead.
There are conflicting reports on whether or not Hammond actually saw the shooter, with some accounts saying that she rushed into the hallway (http://fox6now.com/2012/12/17/connecticut-teachers-were-heroes-in-the-face-of-death-2/) to confront the sound of gunfire along with the principal and Mary Sherlach. Other reports have her staying in the office (http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/heroic_teachers_made_the_ultimate_yUlKFrK5Xq0l0bA3 CMl65I) and using her body to hold the door closed, during which she was shot through the door. Police have not released Hammond's official statement which would clear up the confusion.

Thus it is possible, besides a child who played dead (http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2012/12/sandy-hook-classroom-survivor-played-dead/) beneath the bodies of dead classmates, the unidentified wounded witness is the only living person who actually saw the shooter. School nurse Sally Cox (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2249768/Sandy-Hook-nurse-Sally-Cox-hid-closet-hours-listening-screams-gunshots.html) hid under a desk and could see only the shooter's boots.

As authorities have now admitted to the possibility (http://digitaljournal.com/article/342829) of other "potential suspects" in a court motion asking that key evidence be sealed for another 90 days, questions are focusing more and more on the surveillance video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZPS7AdgNgE&feature=youtu.be) and the 911 call audio. Other questions which have not been answered, despite highly unusual circumstances, are what were the men who were captured running from the building (http://youtu.be/a_1GNuNNY0I) doing on elementary school grounds in the first place, during school hours? Why were the men running? (http://youtu.be/3smLQ1nnZV4)

Finally, what other possible "potential suspects," as the state attorney's motion declares, could be so dangerous as to cause the state's attorney to fear for the "safety and well-being" of other witnesses? Connecticut State's Attorney Stephen Sedensky said that unsealing key evidence in the Sandy Hook case might "seriously jeopardize" the investigation, and "identify persons cooperating with the investigation, thus possibly jeopardizing their personal safety and well-being."
