I saw the interview with the author of the Esquire magazine story.

What is with SEALs blabbing about their top secret missions withing days of performing them now? Have SEALs been cutting book and movie deals after any high profile mission before OBLs death?

Why all of the sudden do SEALs feel safe to talk about what obviously would be classified information under any other circumstance?

1. This was no secret mission; it was announced within hours of happening.

2. I suspect the actual events are top secret. The 'official story' is no secret. Quite the opposite.

OBL died many years ago, the man is a liar.

I've always been interested when people say this. Is there evidence to back this up?

Not really. I personally think he died of natural causes within days before the raid and the SEALs just went in to pick up the body.

The closest things to evidence to back this up are the close relationship between the Bushes and the bin Laden family, Osama's renal condition, and the complete and obviously deliberate lack of evidence (did the body they threw in the ocean have any bullet holes in it at all?).

Published December 26, 2001 FoxNews.com

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

From the article:

The standing ovation of a country in love with its secret warriors had devolved into a news quiz, even as new generations of SEALs are preparing for sacrifice in the Horn of Africa, Iran, perhaps Mexico.

WTF?

I've seen this propaganda trick before. Shaming of the US government to tell a story. And that "shaming" itself is actually just a ploy to demand more funding for an over-funded pentagon.

A lot of fiction is a good read.

Who knows when he died. I do know he won (http://www.theagitator.com/2011/05/02/he-won/) his war (http://www.theagitator.com/2009/12/02/in-which-the-terrorists-win/), and likely died a happy man (http://articles.cnn.com/2004-11-01/world/binladen.tape_1_al-jazeera-qaeda-bin?_s=PM:WORLD).

True that...

Before he died, Phillip Marshall (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?403626-Former-pilot-and-9-11-conspiracy-theorist-shoots-and-kills-2-teen-children-then-himself&) said this about Osama:

It should be easy enough to confirm. That is if the Media had any reporters left.
Or maybe it's one of the reasons he (and his children) are no longer with us.

You know what would be even more interesting? Evidence to show he died the day the govt said he died. Both sides still need to show concrete evidence to support their claims and the govt shouldn't have any problem whatsoever producing this since they claim to have carried out this killing themselves. The back of a man's head doesn't count

How the hell did a reporter from Esquire Magazine find the man who killed OBL?

I guess they should have put that reporter on the trail of OBL years ago.

All I got to say is, the Pentagon said the dog ate the photographic evidence, and the DNA, and disabled the live camera feeds, and.....

How the hell did CNN send Peter Bergen and a camera crew in to find Osama Bin Laden when OBL was supposedly already wanted for the embassy bombings?

The problem is this dude wasn't Osama Bin Laden.

It's so freaking obvious. Best case scenario for the U.S. government? They killed a body double and had to cover that up. Worst case scenario? I don't even want to think about it.

Update on this story: The Shooter is apparently unaware that he IS covered for five years......

http://www.stripes.com/blogs/the-ruptured-duck/the-ruptured-duck-1.160117/esquire-article-wrongly-claims-seal-who-killed-bin-laden-is-denied-healthcare-1.207506

Like every combat veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the former SEAL, who is identified in the story only as “the Shooter”, is automatically eligible for five years of free healthcare through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
