Tomorrow, the Senate is expected to vote against the unconstitutional Violence Against Women Act.

Any true constitutionalist would understand that making violence against women more of a crime than against a man is already unconstitutional. But the fact that it wastes money, has done nothing to reduce crimes against women, and includes all sorts of weird and unconstitutional provisions should make everyone concerned.

Here are some links to find out more info on VAWA and its failure:

Take to the social media, call, or e-mail your senators and demand they vote "NO"! Let all your friends and family know. Thanks. http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

Crafty name for the bill. So if you vote against it, are you saying you condone violence against women?

It's worth pointing out when you make your argument that if women are equal and now allowed to serve in combat, then there is no need for special treatment such as found in the VAWA.

So lemme get this straight ...

... we need a "Violence Against Women Act" in order to keep women safe from violence ...

... and at the same time we need to expand opportunities for women to participate in combat ...

OK. Got it.

Put another tally-mark in the WIN column for dependency-fostering, death-worshipping collectivism.

Is there a link to email them about it online because I don't call?

It actually sounds more like this bill is creating violence against women. Shouldn't it be the women anti-violence act or something?

they should call it the "women demand more violence" act.

They could just pass a "No Violence Act" but then the government would have to disband and shut down.

And here is the list of heroes for opposing VAWA:

NAYs ---22
Barrasso (R-WY)
Blunt (R-MO)
Boozman (R-AR)
Coburn (R-OK)
Cornyn (R-TX)
Cruz (R-TX)
Enzi (R-WY)
Graham (R-SC)
Grassley (R-IA)
Hatch (R-UT)
Inhofe (R-OK)
Johanns (R-NE)
Johnson (R-WI)
Lee (R-UT)
McConnell (R-KY)
Paul (R-KY)
Risch (R-ID)
Roberts (R-KS)
Rubio (R-FL)
Scott (R-SC)
Sessions (R-AL)
Thune (R-SD)

At least I know that 22 senators bothered respecting the Constitution. Sadly, 78 of them were either too happy to vote for unconstitutional legislation or gave in to pressure by radical feminist groups. Shameful.

PLEASE: Thank your senator if he voted against VAWA. Call them or place a thank you on their facebook page. The radical feminists are asking their supporters to put nasty things on the facebook pages of the 22 constitutional heroes. As Freedomworks states, "Politics goes to those who show up." (Meaning: If all our legislators only hear from radical feminists...they are going to vote with the radical feminists next time).

Wow, this is sad. I guess all the men who voted for this were afraid their wives would stop putting out or something.

I'll be sure to hit up a few of the senators with some words of support. Thanks for the heads up on all this, Spoa.
