After the Carson speech Obama agreed, but said, his owners demand if you want power and the spoils of enrichment, you will ensure PC (Politically Correct) is instituted into everyone, keep America dis-informed and drone educated.

Wow, that was amazing. The war of 1812 reference was great as well. It revealed to me that no matter how tough things might seem, as long as we spread the message of liberty we will win, because we have an individual goal summed upon a large population, and they have an idealism which can't ever succeed. Spreading the message of liberty is absolutely necessary though, and I think we all should (and have been) do (doing) our part.

I have to say I did not want to spend 27 minutes listening to a speech given at any Obama function, but after reading others comments, I had to give it a go. I'm so glad I did. It's hard to believe that Obama and most of the people attending would listen to and even applaud such an amazing speech. This guy is great. I don't like some of what he suggested for social programs, but everything else was spot on. Obama DID look very uncomfortable more so as Dr. Carson continued. He just kept marching deeper and deeper into the phony right-left charade right up until the end.

Glad I took the time to listen.

I watched it and it was very good. First time I have heard of Dr. Carson. He is very eloquent, funny and engaging speaker. Unlike Mr. Teleprompter. He speaks the truth to power. He is as real as Obama is fake.

For a minute there when he was standing in front of the Presidential seal was imagining he was the real president, which would be 1000x better than what we have now.

Saw it at the bookstore and was already planning to buy it for my wife for Valentines.

I'm glad you watched it. One thing I noticed on the social programs aspect is that he kept talking about how he was using his own money to implement things like reading rooms for poor schools, or he and his wife's scholarship program for smart and humanitarian kids. I don't know what his political persuasion is, but libertarians can take a lesson. Rather than just say "cut cut cut" all day, talk about other solutions that involve private charity.

It deals more with our mentality and approach to life and current issues, moreso than giving talking points. However, the changes he suggests would naturally lead this nation back to a more liberty minded one by default. I was impressed by it, you should give it a go.

I don't know anything about meals that have a large number of courses so I can only describe his sermon as a full buffet.

I'm glad he seems to have a healthy way to escape his day job as a Pediatric Neurosurgeon (http://www.healthychildren.org/English/family-life/health-management/pediatric-specialists/pages/What-is-a-Pediatric-Neurosurgeon.aspx?nfstatus=401&nftoken=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000&nfstatusdescription=ERROR%3a+No+local+token). Imagine the stress from being engaged in that sort of work with children.

Best part to me is the underlying story of how hard work will get you ahead even if you are born a poor black man with a single parent who has little education. He did not talk about getting a government hand out, he talked about hard work to get ahead in life.

Bump, just saw this video at National Prayer Breakfast, and watched a few other videos. He seems to be open to political aspirations. I like what I heard so far. Its not much, but very good.
