Being completely disgusted by macho neo-con talk about the war on terrorism, I was wondering if Ron Paul ever argued his case in a way they might actually understand and relate to.

In light of nonsense arguments such as "leaving Iraq before the job is done means the terrorists win", Dr. Paul should bring to their attention everything he's been preaching with one single addition: EXPLICITLY stress victories for the terrorists for every right taken away from the American people in the name of national security.

"The terrorists win by changing our fundamental way of living. This is the land of the brave, not the land of the fearful."

"The terrorists win by getting bills like the Patriot Act passed which violate our personal privacy"

"The terrorists win by suspending habeas corpus"

"The terrorists win by getting us into wars that will bankrupt this country"

Anyway, you get the point. For the neo-cons who like to keep score with the terrorists, perhaps they never realized who was really winning until you put it into perspective they understand.

exactly, people need to know the seriousness of the internal threat. This is one thing Dr. Paul needs to hammer home to convert the neocons. People only think for themselves, they don't care how immoral our actions are around the world. They just want to be safe.
