The scary thing is they've been running the foreign policy for about 15 years, it's kind of make it up as you go along. Sometimes we'll intervene and start a war, sometimes we won't. It has been a disaster but they never admit it.

Buchanan was a fuck twit. I don't care to hear it again. His premise was to give these weapons to the military so that the military might counter the regime if push comes to shove. No? That's the most asinine position I have ever heard in my life.
