Obviously, death taxes are immoral. Of course, that doesn't stop the federal government and 21 states from imposing them.

There is good news, though. OH just ended it's death tax. The DE death tax ends in July. IN, ME, RI and IL just increased the threshold to qualify for the death tax. The governor of NC is thinking about ending the NC death tax. MD and NJ have the worst death tax laws. How does your state do?
