Any news on Germany wanting it's gold back from US?

I heard a couple weeks ago that Germany wanted some of its gold back that is held here in the US. And then I heard we would send it back to them, but over a 7 year time period! Can anyone verify this? It seems like a huge story, especially if Germany wanted the gold right away. I've tried searching for news on this but I only get info from sites that sell gold.

We currently hold about 1500 tonnes of their gold for them. They are planning on having 300 tonnes of that shipped back over the next seven years.

Wish I could find a picture I saw while researching this previously. It was of the German gold in its vault- it had a teddy bear in lederhosen holding a German flag sitting on one of the pallets.

I haven't heard about anything about the gold they are getting back from us. I know France doesn't have the gold they owe them, so they are going, with our help, to get it out of Mali.
