From the above link provided with Feinstein's actual bill, check out this line

"(v) A semi-automatic version of an automatic firearm."

I am almost certain that Feinstein and the gun banners are unaware of the Glock 18, but that is the full auto Glock. It could easily be argued that all of the Glocks are essentially semi-auto versions of the Glock 18, especially the same caliber Glock 17 and 19, two of the most popular selling pistols in America. They are probably too ignorant of firearms to even know about this judging by other actions, but I think this is a potential huge weakness for the fascists in the PR fight over how this is just about "assault rifles" and not handguns.

Beretta used to make a three shot burst pistol that was essentially a model 92. All the Mauser broom handles would be included too. I am sure there are more. This is excellent. The more they over-reach, the more badly they get slapped.

Couldn't it then be argued that a revolver is actually a semi-automatic version of a Gatling gun? Or otherwise what if a semi-auto has not automatic version, the banning clause becomes all together arbitrary, so what is the point of banning this or that semi-auto, but not these and those? It makes just as much sense as banning a rifle because it has a pistol grip, thumb hole, flashlight mount, or intimidating blackish appearance.
