Oh dear, why does he plan on "speaking out" rather than just fading into obscurity?
He's not planning on running again in 2016 is he?

Mitt Romney is in Washington, D.C., today to meet with a group of former donors and advisers, who are hosting a luncheon in his honor at the J. W. Marriott hotel, which is near the White House. Paul Ryan will be there, too.
As you’d expect, Beltway reporters are buzzing about Romney’s visit. But according to a senior aide from the campaign, the former Massachusetts governor isn’t trying to make a splash. “This is a social visit, not a political trip,” the aide says. “Governor Romney has deliberately avoided injecting himself into the political discussion while President Obama laid out his agenda and congressional leaders responded.”
Romney’s low profile, however, doesn’t mean he’s retiring from public life. “As events unfold, Governor Romney will speak out more on the issues of the day, including the need to create jobs and restore economic prosperity, and how best America can maintain its leadership position in the world.”
