The Malala Yousafzai Scholarship Act would expand and enhance an existing United States Agency for International Development (USAID) scholarship program (http://transition.usaid.gov/pk/db/sectors/education/project_1072.html) called the Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program. The program awards scholarships for university study in agriculture or business administration to economically disadvantaged young men and women from rural areas of Pakistan. To date, of the 1,807 scholarships awarded, only 25 percent of the recipients have been women.

The Boxer-Landrieu bill would require a 30 percent increase in the number of scholarships awarded under the program for the next four years, and that these additional scholarships be awarded solely to women. The measure would also expand the range of academic disciplines that scholarship recipients could pursue to improve graduates’ chances of obtaining meaningful employment.

Wow. Not only should or tax dollars not be sent overseas for garbage like this, but they also have the gall to tack on an affirmative action mandate to it. Uber epic fail. WTF. SMH.

A while back a city I lived in was flooded by people from India. They came for the programing jobs many young people had. The young people had worked hard to get the college training to qualify. I suppose the new people would work cheaper. Not only did the people born here lose their jobs they lost the city. Not only were they displaced by the people that took their jobs but it seemed that many of the workers brought every in-law they had.

I'm thinking this is the way it starts.

They tax the people here, to train the people that will replace you. The criminals in the government and business really have a scam going for them.

I remember when we had an honest immigration program and a little illegal immigration. Now the pendulum has swung. Even what tries to pass itself of as honest is tainted with corruption.

Can't blame the poor foreigner workers, they just want a job, it's the prostitutes in government that sell us out. But more importantly, the the immigrant workers now here, think this country is the freedom of the world and will vote for free stuff socialism from the corrupt cronies in .GOV. Oh, with the exception of Jackie Chan... :D

Idiots don't realize the trap they have fallen into by "Uncle Sugar, Then Poison"
