There are two Duncans in the House. Jimmy Duncan is a paleoconservative so very close to us. Jeff Duncan is a mainline Tea Partier (and part of Amash's Liberty Caucus), he opposed military intervention in Libya, but he's hawkish on Iran. Jeff is the guy on this committee.

One large newspaper, I think it was the NYT, confirmed not long after the incident the reason why this attack occurred. The location was not an "embassy" or a "consulate" or whatever other name they're calling it. It was a CIA black site housed inside a private property compound. A torture factory. This is why it was attacked and is a very plain example of blowback. No one, particularly Clinton, wants to bring up the function of this location publicly.

Watching these hearings irritates me because no one is asking serious questions. It's all butt kissing from Dems and weak questions of no consequence from most of the Republicans.
