It’s an Obama World… Long Term Unemployment at Highest Level Since WWII
Posted by Jim Hoft on Sunday, January 13, 2013, 10:56 AM

When America reelected Barack Obama they voted for higher unemployment, lower incomes, record government spending, and a stagnant under-performing economy. Barack Obama promises to bring even more pain his second term.

In the US today:

12 million Americans remain unemployed.

In December 22.6 million Americans were unemployed or underemployed.

The average unemployed American is out of work for nearly 40 weeks.

To understand just how bad things are, and just what a failure Obama’s first term has been, you have to see it graphically.

This chart was released by the St. Louis Federal Reserve, via BizzyBlog:

It’s the worst unemployment record since World War II.

FOX discussed these numbers this morning.

But thanks to the liberal media most Americans are unaware of Barack Obama’s record-setting first term.

And so we can all expect even more pain this second term.

Socialism is micromismanagement.

And it's here.

Doesn't matter if Washington is too big to fail or not. It's too stupid to succeed. Washington is too stupid to lead and too arrogant to follow. Time to get it out of the way.

Been there, done that, welcome to the 1930s redux. If it isn't as bad now as then, it's only because the Breadbasket of the World isn't experiencing a Dust Bowl-scale drought.

But, you know, we have been short on rain. So, I guess I should add a few *yet*s.

Wow. You are crazier than I am. LOL
I am being serious here. It is time to start dealing with media treatment of Ron Paul. It doesn't matter if Ron Paul is running next term or not. We need to put the media in their place. Showing how they are irrational on many levels is the first step in doing that. I attended University of Houston majoring in *creative writing and English where it was well known fact that the people in the media are the poorest of writers.

Thanks for the heads up on Will Rogers.

They're going to make it a lot worse like the Great Depression first..

The global economy in Texas has been doing great even though the Obama administration has been trying to destroy it. He threatened us saying we would suffer tremendously if we didn't drink the Kool aid. How does all this doom and gloom concern us? Why should it? Let's say things keep getting better for us and that success spreads to all the states on our border? That is how our cities recovered. Some of the neighborhoods didn't even suffer that much. In time, their success spread out to other parts of the cities.
The Federal government has its filthy nose where it doesn't belong.

Many voted for Obama, but I'm sure many others actually showed up to vote against Romney. As upside down as Obama is, I wonder how many people looked at Romney and saw something worse such as War in Iran and Syria. Or if the association with Bain made him seem like a corporate raider running for office.

A friend of mine who's been looking for a job for 2 years, I told him maybe its because the real unemployment is closer to 20-30%, and he gave me that irritated-gopher look when people hear something they don't want to, told me "maybe, but it's getting better, I read it off the Federal Reserve's website" (and was 100% serious), and was all like "Oh look at that Houston's catching up!"

This particular friend is one reason why I have so little faith in humanity.

LOL Fox news telling us things are bad, after helping elect Obama.

That's like a schoolyard bully taking a crap on your face, then laughing as he points at you, "Haha, your face is full of turds!"

In Texas, the cities are all pretty equal. They all have a sense of sovereignty. In comparison, the states in the Union are all treated differently with some being more second class. The closer a state is to the Washingtonians, the better they are treated. Our Founders divorced us from tyranny within the Declaration of Independence so that they could then remarry us to a more perfect Union within the U.S. Constitution.
We have fallen away from that marriage to the extent we have become a lot of state whores under the rule of a corrupt federal pimp.
Now this federal pimp is warning the whore of Texas that she can't become independent. Living in Texas, I am a greater Texas citizen than I am a U.S. citizen.
You know, as a Texas citizen, I shouldn't be treated like a federal bitch, slut, whore or "c" word. We blame the federal pimp for most things, but the state pimps seem to be going along with it.

This is why I've been arguing against the rehashing of the news in here in a rational way. On many levels, the media are not rational. So, we shouldn't make things worse for ourselves by making sense of them.

What planet are you from? When did Fox news ever tell anyone to vote for obama?

In regards to any of the media, from this day on, we should all consider ourselves from another planet. I for one have decided to quit taking their twisted misinformation and turning it into rational information for them. The media wouldn't be anything without their rehashers. Figure our intelligence agencies influence the news and then turn around to rehash it after the media has produced it.
