Bill Clinton named 'Father of the Year'

Former President Bill Clinton is getting props for being a good dad.
Clinton was named the “Father of the Year” by the National Father’s Day Council on Wednesday.
The group selected Clinton for his “profound generosity, leadership and tireless dedication to both his public office and many philanthropic organizations,” Dan Orwig, chairman of the National Father’s Day Committee, said in the announcement.
The award will be presented at a luncheon in June.

Isn't it a bit odd that his child is a grown adult and he gets an award but during the time she was actually a child and needed her father he was busy playing with interns?
How about they give this award to the dad that took an extra job, working graveyard, so that he could pay for his child's cancer treatment?
I find it strange that he is named "Father of the Year" for his "tireless dedication to both his public office and many philanthropic organizations." Wouldn't this mean he was taking more time doing things other than being a father?
What a joke. Maybe he'll be named "Husband of the Year" next.
