I've recently been doing some research on the politician Huey Long, a Louisiana Democrat during the time of the Great Depression serving as both Governor and Senator of Louisiana before he was assassinated in 1935. I was trying to search for and bills he proposed as Senator in the Library of Congress, but to no avail. However, I did find some bills that were recently introduced within the past 10 days.

H.R.25: To promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.
Sponsored by Rob Woodall (R-GA) on Jan 3rd, 2013
