Go for it. I don't have an account at DP. I read on Ben Swann's Facebook comments that he needs to register with a specific website before he shows up on the nomination page. That's probably the reason why he hasn't shown up yet.

Edit: ok, he need to register his twitter account on Muck Rack. Someone pass that along to him. He is aware people are voting for him but I don't think he knows he has to verify his account. We can pull this out for him if he verifies. It would give him a good boost of publicity.

Umm. Am I missing something or does Anderson Cooper have 8 votes for 8th place while 1st place Tim Pool has 90 votes? If that is the case it is a goddamn shame Swann doesn't have 1000 fold first place votes. Perhaps people just aren't aware there is such an award? I don't have a twitter or I would vote hands down, Ben Swann. I don't even know who I would consider for 2nd place. Maybe the Judge? If he's even considered a correspondent. I believe his title is 'Senior Legal Analyst,' so I doubt he would be accepted.

On their site they say they vett the journalists to make sure they are real. I hope prior votes will still count when they finish the project, they might have a bunch of journalists trying to get on now specifically to get the award. We should take this if our guy gets qualified, so that is kind of irritating.
