Epic stats.

DId you know the U.S. is ranked #1 in gun ownership, but we come in 28th in terms of gun-related murders? 27 countries with fewer guns have higher incidences of gun related murders.

I'd like to see the statistics on gun owners who successfully defended themselves from criminals. I'd be willing to bet that there were far more victims in the UK than in the US. Just the fact that we have such a low burglary rate tells me that the potential for gun ownership is a major deterrent.
