They love petitions, it shows that you understand the bill, they don't care if you don't like it, they only care if you understand it. Drawing up an petition against any new laws is fine with them as long as you follow it while complaining.
Petitions are kinda like writing a letter to a prison warden and asking them to give you the key to your cell.

True. One thing we do have in our favor is the ability to vote on the warden and all the "prison guards" every couple of years. We need to keep track of the Reps and Senators that sponsor her bill and vow to not support them in any way when they come up for re-election. A petition like, not to the whitehouse.gov, but on a website, with a large number of signatures and an updated list of Congress members supporting the Feinstein's bill and others for all the world to see might make them reconsider their knee-jerk mother hen response to this..........

Im with ya, but I think its been a LONG time since "voting" was the REAL reason why certain people get into power.
Warden, US president....all the same from my view.
