First of all, what is the campaign doing letting a brothel owner into the press conference with two prostitutes? Second, why does some professorial jackass who's never run a political campaign in his life always get the last word in every article?

Brothel's are legal in NV. What's the big deal there.

Although it was not a stellar idea for Dennis Hof to bring a couple of his "girls" to the press conference, he has a vote, as do the two girls, provided they are registered to vote.

Prostitution is legal in a few counties in Nevada, and frankly, even though I would not choose the profession, this is clearly something the Federal government should not be sticking their nose in.

Much like the failed "war on drugs". Not the job of the Federal government.

Certainly something that should be addressed on a state level.

Nevadans are very much for freedom from federal involvement in our personal lives.

It's one of many reasons why we like this guy.:)

He sticks with the Constitution.

For once and for all, stop complaining about people that endorse Ron Paul. You're not getting it. Freedom is the big common denominator. Everyone likes freedom (except those in power) so let them come. If the freedom movement helps with their agenda, so be it As long as they are not harming someone else, they have the right to do what they want.

Freedom is about tolerance... I also thought Christianity was about tolerance too... yet, the neocon christian right wingers have no tolerance.
And some people who want freedom still don't understand you don't have freedom unless everyone has tolerance.

Well, Christianity isn't about tolerating sin. And I don't think Christians should tolerate prostitution, insofar that they should not condone it, nor participate in it themselves. But what a lot of Christians don't understand is that while making prostitution or drugs illegal reduces the use of drugs and prostitution, it increases the rate of violent crime due to pimps, drug dealers, etc, which wouldn't exist sans regulations. They need to reject Hillary's assertion that it takes a village to raise a child (which they're buying into with these gov't regulations) and realize that it's the parents' responsibility.

I mean he didn't shun prostitutes and try and exclude them from his society. I mean some of his closest followers were prostitutes. And he certainly wasn't as hippocritical as the neocon christians, half of which use prostitutes.

Prostitution is, quite simply, market forces at work.
