The Chairman of the Budget Committee and Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan is a flat out Bush Republican and Big government conservative.
Here are some of the monstrosities he has voted for. Pretty typical of GOP leadership.
-Bush stimulus (including extensions to unemployment benefits)
- Iraq war
- PATRIOT Act
- Troubled Asset Relief Program (bankster bailout... the fraud even said TARP legislation “offends my principles.” But he added, “I’m going to vote for this bill in order to preserve my principles. In order to preserve this free enterprise system.”)
- Auto industry bailout
- Voted to raise the debt ceiling 5 times and last year but tempered his out of control spending by agreeing to the sequester.
- The Highway bill with the infamous 'Bridge to Nowhere'
- Medicare Part D - called the greatest expansion of the welfare state since LBJ's "Great Society"
- Voted to create Department for Homeland Security
- Voted to create the TSA
- No Child Left Behind (written by current Speaker Boehner who calls it "my greatest achievement")
Countless others i.e everything Bush did Ryan was voting for and often a cheerleader.
Yet Ryan is often praised by Fox News and is painted as a conservative. Laura Ingram is even touting him as a potential replacement for Boehner. HA HA!
