Have you looked around your county party yet to see when their officer elections are?

The only way we are going to change the Republican Party is from within, and that means getting as many like-minded people elected into officer positions as possible!

In NC, precinct meetings are generally held in mid to late February. County Conventions in March, District Conventions in April. The NCGOP State Convention will be held the first weekend in June in Charlotte, NC.

Specific dates for the precinct, county, and District conventions have not yet been set.

The only way we are going to change the political landscape is to elect more LIBERTY candidates to office, period. Forget trying to convert the two major parties, as they will continue to be controlled by the big special interests (Big Biz, Oil, Pharma, the MIC, and AIPAC). We build our impact by growing our presence in both parties, by winning open seat races as they show up, by they in Republican or Democratic districts. let's build OUR liberty empire---not the GOP's statist party.

In NH, delegate elections are in Novermber of even numbered years. County caucuses are in December. Officer elections for county and state are in January of odd numbered years. I think Peace&Freedom might be more correct than Matt, though you both have good points. Plus, I'm not sure my state GOP even needs to be changed. It leans pretty pro-liberty already.

Not entirely right...

Winning county party positions and gaining influence = the power to make endorsements for our people at the county level.

Endorsements = votes because most people vote for whoever their party tells them to.

Maybe. In some places, the party cannot make endorsements until after the primary.

And yes we need more liberty candidates, but in order to do that, we neet at minium a foothold in the local Republcain Parties to be able to get liberty candidates elected.

In NY we petition for county committeeman in March, and for GOP State Committee in April. We stand to make significant gains at the county level, not quite ready to take it to state sans a couple of counties.
