I went a step further with one of my games. Team Fortress 2 has this nifty little feature where you can upload pictures and use them as "sprays" anywhere on multiplayer maps.

Of course I had to support my man, and here are the in-game results. 32 players get to see this every time we do battle!

Same here. I play star wars galaxys and guild wars. ill stand around in a high traffic area spamming differnt websites. ive got ALOT of in game messages asking "who is ron paul?". great way to meet real people that are over 18 and intellegent.

Well, it's kind of both ways right now. I know they pulled together and easily brought in a few thousand in donations on November 5th, but there is also a lot of hate (might be fake) toward Paul as well. As long as they aren't at war with us, I think we're in the green.

i play CSS and my name is Ronpaul2008.com and i spray that same sign ^_^ we get into good political discussions. I told everyone on the server the real reason our oil prices are so high is because of the declining dollar. i think i woke a few up, they reacted like "wow really, i never thought of it like that" and i got to get into a debate over removing the war on drugs.
I used the old 88 vid of ron paul's tactic. i said "well if the government can tell you what drugs you can put into your body, you know , since they know my body best. What if they told fat people they had to go on mandatory diets. What would be the difference? he didn't reply :P

I think this is a huge following of people that needs tapped. I know some gamers don't think past the hot pocket in their hand or the empty mt dew can (sorry if I offended anyone), but the gaming industry is moving past that stereotype. You can download the "vtfedit" program mentioned on the page and make your own sprays for the game.

Basically, you need to click the "file" menu in the program and import a picture, then click "file" again and export the picture to your desktop. It will be exported as a ".tga" file. This is what the game uses.

These two pictures have already been converted to the proper format, so you can use these if you wish. They are variations of the official RP2008 Yard Sign and look very good in the game :)

Once you have the files, it gets complicated...but here is how you do it.

Double click "my computer", then "C:", and navigate through ALL of these folders...

C:/Programfiles/steam/steamapps/yourusername/teamfortress2/TF/materials/VGUI/logos/UI

I know that's a lot of double clicking, but you need to get to that final "UI" folder and copy the .tga files into it. Then load the game up and open the options menu. Under the "multiplayer" tab, you will find the option to import sprays into the game.

You might need to navigate through all those crazy folders again to find the spray files you just copied. But once you do this, and hit "apply", you're done! (thank God)

Enter a game server and press T to use the spray on any flat surface. Let me know if you have any trouble...and have fun ;)

hmm..I dunno if this will work, but try saving the two files I linked at sendspace to your desktop. And see if you can import them straight from your desktop into the game. If that doesn't work, hopefully your husband can figure it out.
