Ive always been interested in the city because of its rise and fall. Personally, more interested in its fall. Many events have happened there. In this case I stumbled on the 1967 riots and was curious as to what really started it. According to the included video, the riots were sparked by an undercover cop who was posing as a buyer of alcohol from an "unapproved" seller. Note that during the riots, sales of alcohol was prohibited.
