GOP establishment are briefing against the purged conservatives in politico:

-
Back-bench freshmen Justin Amash, Tim Huelskamp and David Schweikert are gaining martyr status among conservative activists after they were “purged” from House committees for what they say is a matter of sticking to their principles on tough votes.

But some of their colleagues say the trio got yanked by the leadership-driven Republican Steering Committee because they’re jerks — or worse.

In an interview with POLITICO, one member of the Steering Committee called them “the most egregious assholes” in the House Republican Conference.

AMASH:

"I was told I received a ZERO on 'conservative' scorecard."

If they think we're assholes now, wait until they see what happens in the next round of primaries.

Boehner just lied on national TV, when a reporter asked him about the GOP "Purge List". Boehner stated, "There's No Purge List" and immediately went onto the next reporter questions

Wow. It looks like they are blaming Schweikert for letting the cat out of the bag on some fun and games. He violated the golden rule: "What happens in Vegas and Israel, stays in Vegas and Israel."

Schweikert’s colleagues believe — fairly or not — that he was the source of a POLITICO story that revealed lawmakers and aides had jumped into the Sea of Galilee on a trip to Israel. Schweikert has publicly deniedthat he was the source and one of the reporters on the story confirmed that he was not the source on television.

Come on, people. DO something with your frustration. The list of the Steering Cmte. members who purged these guys is in the following link, along with their phone numbers. Call them and tell them to put them back on!!

This is why they were assholes?!

The argument: This went beyond voting records. The members who were booted made life harder for other Republicans by taking whacks at them in public for supporting the team, according to Republican sources familiar with the Steering Committee’s decision.

What a bunch of whiners.

So, no one wants to lift a finger to try to help?

So, no one wants to lift a finger to try to help?

I have Dem reps and one has left Washington having lost his election, but I did send emails, before that list came out. We also had a twitterbomb linking to media and to Boehner's and Ryan's account, etc. This has been going a while and the pressure definitely needs to stay on, but a lot of people have already been acting on this, including asking Reps to vote for Price or someone not Boehner. Definitely, this is a good idea too.

Calling sold-out politicians won't help. Remember TARP?

We'll deal with them come primary season - mercilessly, uncompromisingly.

Over 8,000 messages sent through FreedomWorks. I've noticed that people don't respond to forums or Facebook, they respond to emails. Unless we have an organization that has email lists and uses it to encourage action instead of asking for money, we're just not going to be as effective as we should be.

It's a whole new ballgame. They should have never started this purge. Incredibly bad strategy on their part.

Interesting that Hannity sounded like he was reading from his notes when he bid farewell to the two interviewees, as if he really didn't know who they were even enough to remember their names.

Hannity is a water carrier for the power structure in the GOP, so one would expect him not to know the names of the non-locksteppers.
