Last week, the bill passed the Michigan House of Representatives with a unanimous vote. Earlier this week, it passed through the State Senate Judiciary Committee and it has the opportunity to be passed on Thursday. But we must act fast as Thursday is the deadline because it’s the last legislative session of the year. If it does not pass on Thursday, it will be defeated and Michigan citizens will not be safe from Obama’s indefinite detention policy. So we need to really deluge these guys with phone calls to pressure them into acting like there is still time left.
