Thanks for sharing. We were having this debate just the other day. I made basically the arguments put forth in the vid (though I didn't have as many facts and figures on the top of my head), but the conservatives were thoroughly against it. Hopefully this video is more impressive than what I had time to express to folks. :)

I agree with some of the points in the video. The only state really designed to not have this problem is New Hampshire. In NH, there isn't a Lt. governor. Instead, there are 5 executive councilors, each elected by a region of NH. These people each represent just 260,000 people. In the NH House, there are 400 volunteer legislators, each representing 3,300 people.

The fact that NH is the only state kind of holding true to the republican theory mentioned in the video and it is often called the freest state. Maybe there is something to this?
