What exactly is the story behind "toady?" My assumption that it involves the embarassing misspelling of "today" and was used for something supporting Ron Paul. I must know the story...toady if possible. :toady:

I too heard it arose from the common misspelling of "today".

it was in Rand Paul's primary, his staff sent an email 'Toady is the Primary!' It was a typo, but seemed like a good luck charm, at the time....
