I, like most on here was disgusted with Costas's sanctimonious soapbox drivel about NFL star Jovan Belcher and how we all "know" tragedy could have been avoided if he just didn't have access to weapons. Somehow it "proved" all of us American adults are just too young and dumb to deserve our second amendment. Well now we have a new NFL player tragedy. This time, it doesn't involve handguns, but rather it is a case of drunk driving and vehicular manslaughter. Dallas Cowboys practice-squad linebacker Jerry Brown was killed in a one-car accident Saturday and teammate Josh Brent, who was driving the two, was charged with intoxication and vehicular manslaughter. Well Bob, this whole thing would not have happened if we didn't have vehicles. Also, according to your fine logic, it wouldn't have happened if the prohibition was still in effect. Come on Bob, give us a good prohibition speech. Lay it on us during a Budweiser sponsored halftime show. The world is waiting for your long face and words of wisdom Bob. Don't let us down.
