It is very possible that Huckabee is holding back a large sum of money to throw in at the last minute. We cannot be defeated!

You call that surging? Heh, it's still not enough to surpass us. It would be great if Huckabee suddenly raised 1 million dollars from rich corporate employers. I'd love to see that.

K, so if I were to max out at 2300 in donations I could no longer purchase from the store? Or, say if I were some celebrity could I go buy 100grand worth of signs and no problems?

If you've maxed out you can't buy from the store. This is what the official website says:


An individual may contribute up to $2,300 per election. This limit includes contributions (as purchases) made through the official Ron Paul 2008 Store. If you have already made the maximum contribution and would like Ron Paul merchandise, please contact Neal Moore at (703) 248-9115.

I don't know too much else besides that.

The campaign would refund your donations after calculating your purchases, im not entirely sure how it would work if you purchased over $2300 worth of items tbh.

The store won't let you purchase over 2,300 worth of stuff. If you try, you get a message.
