Watched that one last night. "That's good. That's good. That's really good. You're good."

Adam is good! LOL He insisted they don't really care about Opt Out, that they were just there to "bait the police."

LOL... The thugs were so frustrated. The dog was a bit much.

That Sheriff is great!

I also found it interesting when Jason was talking to the airline check-in people (I think for US Airways) and he said that "We know TSA is nothing but smoke and mirrors."

That deputy is probably with the oath keepers. Good posting! Lets us know there is still hope. I wonder if it's legal to hand out other forms of literature there? Like liberty, or anti-commie stuff.

Love Deputy Stan! Those two should send him a muffin basket. That "public relations" dude was so frustrated. LOL

In the second vid, the TSA goons were the ones who were disrupting the screening process! And that jerk cop could learn a few things from Deputy Stan about Amend. I.

I know AF says something like... it's not news when a cop is doing what he or she is suppose to do. But after seeing so many videos of cops disobeying their oath, it is refreshing to see cops like the one in this video.

The TSA’s own website admits that it is not illegal to film TSA agents, just as it is not illegal to film police officers. However, there are innumerable examples of the TSA threatening travelers who either film them or who simply dare to display a “bad attitude” while they are being harassed.

I'm afraid the goons will agitate for this to be made illegal, and I'm also afraid the courts will side with them since they have proven time and time again that "security" is more important that our Constitutional rights.

There shouldn't be any problem handing out literature outside, why not there?

Makes me want to email this deputy and thank him for keeping his oath. I know, he's just doing his job, but how many are?

When does statute or regulation trump Constitutionally protected rights on public property?

The guy in the green shirt in the first vid is the embodiment of what is wrong in America today. He's a "there out to be a law..." type. He thinks the law is at his disposal, and that he can use it anytime he feels annoyed or disapproves of another's actions. It matters not that they haven't broken any (real)laws, they have broken his law of thinking the way he does, and therefore that is enforceable under the (real) law. This is clearly evident when he demands the deputy get their names and ID's for him. I really hate those type of people.

This is why I have been looking towards winning the local sheriff's office for a liberty candidate. Imagine what we could do with enforcement of 4th Amendment rights at Dulles Airport. It would bring down the entire edifice of TSA security theater in one fell swoop.

What about the argument that they were on privately-owned property and the property owner had the right to not allow them to film?

Depends on when the government official needs it to work in their favor

Good luck with that. I'm sure he/her would mysteriously end up dead.

Funny coupled w/ some truth.

However, I have free speech at my local street corner, on the sidewalk, yes? What about in the POTUS' office, do I have the right to walk in there and protest?

We need a solid understanding of rights and law as it pertains to the various locations of public space (fed, state, county, town, etc.). From there, we can build a firm and consistent response.

You used to be able to walk right up to the White House and have a meeting with the President. Interview for a job, complain about your neighbor's farm, etc. Now our presidents are too busy saving the world from freedom to deal with us mundanes.

I wonder what that airport rep was talking about when he said they needed a one million dollar insurance policy for handing out information? I was like... what? They weren't doing anything that would require liability insurance. What... is handing someone a piece of paper potentially injurious?

He's just a bully. He was trying to intimidate them. You probably need one if you're soliciting donations or something.

No one has the right to deny you your liberties, even on their private property.

Also, airports aren't private property. ALmost everyone of them is owned by some local, state or federal government agency.

You can be kicked off of private property for any reason that the owner wants. That said, I'd like to know more about who owns/rents what in this case.

Uh, yes they can. You are missing the whole concept of private property.

I think it's comical that we continue to ignore the fact that those xray machines are as well private property in these airports and that the folks scribbling up the rules on national security perhaps did so in a manner consistent with their portfolio as opposed to the gag that was fed to the sheep. Is a hoot. I hope that there will be a time when folks really think about what they support in terms of the false paradigm that private property language has morphed into.

Edit -- Meh. Never mind. Not even going to waste my time and keystrokes on that comment. Generally folks have the right idea on property rights but they defend them in terms of the artificial entity and subsequently against the rights of the legitimate citizen. It's allowed the illusion to run amok across a broad spectrum of important issues too.
