I'm putting this in General Politics so it's seen. The Libertarian Party of Kansas is suing several cities in KS to restore open carry of firearms. Open carry is not prohibited by state law, and the KS attorney general has issued an opinion that it is illegal for cities to ban it. Some have begrudgingly complied and removed their ordinances, some have not, and Overland Park is trying to "regulate" it. These lawsuits should encourage them. If you are a KS resident, or just a supporter of Liberty, please donate some $ and pass the news along. So far the lawsuits are against:

Wyandotte County (KCK Unified Government)
Emporia
Junction City
Gardner
Leawood
Lenexa
Prairie Village

Checks can be made out to LPKS. In the memo put c/o Open Carry

Mail To:

LPKS
c/o Open carry
785 E. 1055 Road
Baldwin City, KS 66006

Thank you in advance of your support!
