Ron Paul deserves your support for the Republican nomination

I am writing this letter to try to get information out on the issues Dr. Ron Paul, who is running for the Republican nomination as president of the United States, is supporting. He wants to follow our Constitution, lessening federal control of our schools, timberlands and health care system, returning the control of these back to We the people of Oregon. He wants to secure our borders. It makes no sense to fight terrorism in 130 countries around the world while our front door is wide open! If we stop policing the world, saving our sons and daughters and one trillion dollars a year, we could reduce our debt, care for OUR children, seniors, disabled Americans and reduce taxes.
Ron Paul voted against the war and the Patriot Act! He broke records for fundraising on Nov. 5th, 2007 - $4.38 million dollars in donations in 24 hours from more than 38,000 donors! Each donated an average of $103. These are people like you and me! NOT large corporations! We will be having another donation drive on Dec. 16, 2007, the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party when our forefathers threw tea into the harbor in protest that the government was not listening to them.
