The way I see it, Ron Paul of the 80s is more powerful than the Ron Paul of the present day. Reason why? Everything he said that was going to happen did happen.

Yeah, but the passion you see coming from him in that Downey appearance is galvanizing.

He has not stopped making predictions, and the ones he has been making are extremely likely to also come true (since most of them are based on math and fundamental human nature).

Ron's appearance on the Morton Downey Jr show was a one and only instance of us seeing "Ron Paul the actor". It was a requirement to act like that on that show. Ron Paul is not that type of person. He took some risks for media exposure.
