Oh yeah, call me surprised. At least the people at Google understand that Ron Paul's farewell speech is historic. That is an encouraging sign.

Google is just a news aggregator. The news it shows you might even be affected by things like what you've searched for. For instance I haven't seen that article up on my Google News feed, and I don't see it even in my "Ron Paul" filter. [edit: but I do see the "Ron Paul Departs With 'Our Constitution Has Failed'" ABC News headline]

I'd never seen the article shown in the screenshot or the other articles until looking at google news and election pages so I don't think the listing is being generated mostly by user interaction. I hardly ever see Ron Paul articles on google news front page, I think they are purposely pushing it to the front page, also seeing a different article now in that section.
